With support of the European Union meetings with women and youth of Akhalkalaki continue

Georgian Institute for Public Affairs (GIPA) with its partner organizations and under the framework of the project “Promoting a New Rural Development Approach in Akhalkalaki” continues meetings with local women and youth.

At the meetings, information materials about LEADER approach are provided. International partner of the project shares its 25 years of experience of Ireland. LEADER approach promotes development of local communities and economy with involvement of private, public and civic actors. Members of local development group participate in field trips and information meetings. In the nearest future, the project intends to organize educational activities for youth and women.

Project “Promoting a New Rural Development Approach in Akhalkalaki” in Georgia is being implemented by Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), Mercy Corps, Elva – Community Engagement and West Cork Development Partnership (Ireland).
